When the team members came to me, asking for a clock to be put on the wall, I was a little sceptical at first as I did not want them to be watching it all the time. Sometimes, having the time in front of you can make the day seem like it is going much slower.

We liked the look of this clock as it was round, when many of the other items are just big black boxed with the LED numbers on the front. This clock shows the seconds around the outside, in an LED ring with a little light to show AM or PM too.
It is definitely large enough to be useful to us in the office, but also small enough that it could be used at home. Like most of the other large digital wall clocks, this one is also powered through the supplied main adapter and will not lose any setting if turned off accidentally or overnight.
The circle of LED lights to show the seconds around the outside are really good and this was one of the big selling points of this clock.

Large Digital Wall Clock With Seconds
The display is bright enough to see from across the office and it has a remote control that can be used to set the time remotely, which is good, so that we don't have to connect it to a PC or something to keep it updated.
It could be mounted direct on the wall via a set of screws, but it can also stand on it's own, meaning we could put it on a shelf high up, or on top of a large cupboard.
One thing that we really liked about this clock was that the remote control could also be used to set the clock as a countdown timer, from 99 hours down to 0. You can even set up intervals too, so someone like a teacher or sports coach could use this for practicing. You can then set the countdown to automatically repeat too - perfect for various different uses.
It comes with an internal (changeable) battery that keeps the clock time for 7 years, which meant that even though it is mains charged, we could turn it off at night and it would not lose any of it's settings.

Large Digital Atomic Wall Clock
The clock measures 16 inches wide by 10 inches tall and is linked to the radio signal that controls all clocks automatically, making sure that this is always right. Add to that the display of the date at the bottom, plus the indoor temperature (that some people find really interesting) and you have the perfect large wall clock.
It is also very thin and does not stick out from the wall too much. In fact, during some training sessions, we stand it up on the desk using the built in stand, making it very versatile. It looks really nice too, having a brushed aluminium style, which we though looked better than just a large black box.
